Estra lived a sheltered life until her convent is burned down by a band of heretics led by a rogue sorceress, exposing her to a plot large enough to start a new cataclysm. Torn from her home and forced to fight for her life in a world of murder, monsters, and worse, Estra must survive and learn to use her newfound powers if she hopes to prevent a catastrophe. But first, she’ll have to deal with hatred growing inside of her for the people that took everything she loved.
