The Christmas Variant: a Short Nightmare

‘Twas the night before Christmas, but instead of loading up the sleigh with presents for good little girls and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Claus were focused on saving their lives.. After a human epidemic spreads to the North Pole, Christmas, and the fate of all mankind, hang in the balance.. Will Santa and Mrs. Claus be able to contain a virus that’s evolved in magical elf blood before it finds its way back to humanity? Or will Santa spread a whole lot more than Christmas cheer this year?. This short nightmare was written on Christmas Day 2020 by Tom Sadira for his upcoming short story anthology A Few Before We’re Through. All proceeds from this short story will be donated to the Elven branch of Sugar Anonymous.
