The sun has never set on the city of Lahaina, its endless radiance forever stationary, its intensity varying like a play on a diurnal cycle mostly forgotten. The light has brought prosperity, stability, and magics that have transformed society into a utopia. However, a world away, the darkness festers on half the planet, rendering it uninhabitable.Leon sits on the fringes of these worlds, sensing something is on the verge of change. He is one of the few who remembers a time before and seems to be the only one who can’t shake the feeling that, despite the glitter, the smiles, and the power, something is wrong with this world.Unable to ignore the relentless pull of his intuition and having found no answers to why the world changed, Leon journeys with three companions into the unrelenting darkness, searching for answers to why day and night are no longer times but places. Each are challenged with illusions meant to break them, their magic stripped, they’ll have to face locked away memories, lives out of time, and old gods of fear and rot.
