An unknown author to me, which can sometimes be good or bad. Then….I spent the next 24 hours of my life devouring the story.I personally would best describe this as the perfect slow burn if I was to put it in a simple box, but it’s so much more than that. It’s been a while since there was a heroine, hero, and a whole host of other characters that I was fully invested in and could connect with. The universe is tangible and imaginative – so well crafted and articulated that all of your senses are engaged. Such a delight! This isn’t simply a romance. It has a fantastically planned storyline with a romance that’s realistically woven into it.
