Having been picked as one of the main dancers in an amateur production of Moulin Rouge, Ruby puts her heart and soul into making her routines as passionate as possible. There is just one problem: the guy she is dancing with is her best friends boyfriend, and she is finding their performance of Roxanne far too arousing.
When the casting director decides to add a kiss in the mix, Ruby feels like her head might explode. Is she imagining things or is Matt kissing her back? This is no longer just a play, there is a connection and Ruby can’t risk her friendship. In tears one night, she confesses all to her friend.
But Cheryl doesn’t react the way Ruby expects and her friend admits to her what she and Matt do on their ‘Pizza Nights’. She also reveals that she and Matt have recently been talking and that she knew Ruby held a burning desire for her man. They had come to an agreement for an evening of dalliance and it turns out Matt find Ruby sexy too.
