Max
Talia is my world; she has been since the first moment I met her. She’s never done anything other than love me, and how did I repay that love?
I broke her heart, in the worst way imaginable.
Which is why I put her first, and allowed Reed Glory into our lives. Because I f*cking knew it were the right thing to do… what Talia needed, wanted, and desired. He is also the only thing that seems to calm the f*cking crazy bitch, that’s taking over her mind. That I helped put there.
But I made a mistake.
Life’s a bitch, it has a way of f*cking with you.
Because, yeah, her monster is real, and the f*cker told me he wants my girl. And he’s playing for keeps… as in he warns me if I f*ck up again, then he’ll be waiting to take her away from me.
Which is exactly what he does, when Reed decides to break my girls heart…
So, now I’m left with a son I don’t know how to care for, and the knowledge that Talia didn’t love me enough to stay. Which makes no f*cking sense to me, because she knows she’s my world, like I am hers.
Or am I?
Yeah, that is the f*cking question that’s keeping me awake at night, and the reason I’m not putting my all into finding her.
Because, what if I find her, and she don’t want me no more?
Talia
Taking one last look at my smirking ex-best friend, and my first love – on his knees and crying, I say, ‘Adios F*ckers,’ and make the leap.
Well, I climb into my monster’s limousine anyways.
And I’m living the life.
As you do when you’re living in an alternate reality, complete with a pet owl called Romeo. Yeah, thanks to the ‘magic meds’ my monster gives me, I can conjure up any-f*ckin-thing at all.
Well, I can’t conjure up Max and Reed back into my life, because they’ve moved on… But it don’t matter now anyways, because so have I!
I just hope and pray that this time, everyone leaves me the f*ck alone…

(If you read book 1 before May 2022 then chances are you will be affected, and need to catch up in the new book 1)
