The Tragic Origin of Professor Spectre

As half of the ghost hunting Spectre Collectors, Dalton Peck was a happy fraud. He’d convinced his business partner that adding special effects to their online videos was just a white lie. Dalton saw the duplicity as a necessary evil to keep their channel afloat. When a mysterious manuscript arrives on his doorstep containing instructions for performing a ritual of transformation, Dalton envisions filming the event and seeing a spike in subscribers. To his ultimate horror, the ritual is a success. Another universe is unveiled to the lifelong skeptic, with terrifying consequences. Dalton’s worldview is shattered. He can now see the things that spawned mankind’s fear of the dark. While he struggles to understand the nature of his new abilities, Dalton must also grapple with the supernatural in a race against time to save an innocent life.
