Twenty-four years ago, buried within the Pennsylvania Wilds, Tannersberg was almost erased from memory. What happened there was never meant to be spoken of again. A string of unnatural, grotesque murders. A darkness that defied reason. The atrocity was dealt with, and the terrifying reality was thought forgotten, never to be whispered on human lips again.

Now the Chief of Police, Rachel, must contend with the unbelievable horror once more. On the one hand, her department is split over the actual truth. On the other side are the offspring of the families responsible for the original happenings. Pushed to the edge of her oath to protect the town, Rachel’s thrust into a no-win situation. Uphold her vow and fight a losing battle, or break her word to save the town, thereby plunging it into the very hell she’s trying to save it from.
