This open access book presents a BIM-based toolkit designed to optimize the building process by enhancing semantic interoperability. It demonstrates how the toolkit accelerates renovation activities from decision-making to construction site management and showcases its successful validation in three demo sites, illustrating its effectiveness in reducing time, costs, and energy consumption while improving building performance and comfort for inhabitants.
