When our children were little, they would sometimes say things that were interesting, sometimes eye opening, and sometimes funny. Several of those circumstances prompted me to describe them in the form of kid’s songs. About 25 years ago I was a bit of a star in my neighbourhood, with people under 5 years old. Since I retired and we now have our first grandchild, I have decided to reinvent the songs in the form of illustrated stories.
This first book resulted from an incident that took place when our oldest son was in grade one. He came home one day after school and announced that he had seen a dinosaur in our neighbour’s yard. This story is about what may have taken place had the event actually happened.
