Avant is the epitome of cool, calm, and collected, never one to really let too much bother him as he navigates life with his girl Vanessa. Vanessa is the yin to Avant’s yang, a hardworking young lady working within the culinary field. Alonzo is always working-for a good reason as he managed to create a mini-me during his junior year in college, while still pursuing his dreams of becoming a basketball coach and sports administrator. His ever-toxic other half, Jasmine, is definitely a good one, holding him down with all his drama. She’s pursuing dental hygiene under a renowned cosmetic dentist that has an eye for technical acumen. Those two are like Whitney and Bobby, without the drugs of course. Myles, Avant’s younger cousin, hails from Chicago and adds his own drama into the lives of the others as they all deal with life, love, loss, and its many ups and downs along the way.
