A West Side Love Story

SynopsisA teenage love affair is always innocent and sweet. And, when your first love is three years younger than you, the puppy dog love is forever. Baby Doll and Al were from the west side of St. Louis and apart of the West Side Gangsta Crips. Al’s big brother Alan was the leader of their gang, and the three of them were thick as thieves. Baby Doll was much older than Al, but she was smitten by him and they were sneaking around behind everyone’s back. On Al’s 15th birthday while at his party, him and Baby Doll sneak off and share a magical night with both of them losing their virginity. They declared their love for each other, and made plans of going to college, getting married and raising a family. Everything was beautiful until Baby Doll gets locked up for ten years due to her past record. Baby Doll was adamant about Al going to college and making something of his life. So much so, she pushed him away refusing to write or talk to him on the phone, but always stayed in close contact with Alan. Al wrote letters and sent cards to his beloved Baby Doll for years, but they went unanswered. So, Al moved on with his life, graduating at the top of his class in high school and college. He achieved all of his goals and some landing a job with a computer software firm. His life was on track and he was getting ready to graduate from college with his Masters degree and move to Chicago when his old teenage love re-emerges. A reunion at Alan’s club brings Al face to face with his first love, and Baby Doll is as beautiful as ever. They get re-acquainted and the love is still real, but a dashingly handsome advisory named Dip is pressing up on Baby Doll, and he’s holding no stops. She’s not filling Dip, because her gang ties hold true to her heart, and she’s a loyalist. It’s West Side Gangsta Crip til the death of her, and Dip’s a Blood from the other side of their hood. But, Al’s little secret that he’s hiding may tare them apart, pushing her straight to Dip who’s been wining, dining and romancing a smitten Baby Doll. But, Baby Doll’s hands aren’t clean either, because she holds a secret that may cause Al to hate her forever. Will a teenage love that’s rooted deeply within two souls be able to handle all the unsettled emotional issues from their past? Will the life choices one has made for them self cause the other to look at other options as a means of sexual and emotional comfort?
