Evidence of a Sacrifice

Everyone experiences misfortune. For some people, misfortune comes in the form of a curse, magic, demonic possession. Jamie knows firsthand, which is why she has devoted herself to helping others who suffer through those experiences. She starts a paranormal analytics business, a team focused on ridding victims of supernatural threats. But a team takes more than one person and she often finds herself alone. Friends aside, her mentor is dead and the woman set to take he place is a reluctant teacher.
Sierra leaves town for the weekend with plans to stay with her grandmother, who has just settled into a new home. A new home means new neighbors, one of whom has a treacherous past and it’s about to become part of Sierra’s future. Rescued from sudden doom, Sierra learns that it will be short-lived unless she can learn to trust her rescuer.
Jamie doesn’t have enough experience, but her new client doesn’t have a choice. They’ll have to face misfortune together.
