Faron’s Secret

When the death of her father causes her family to move out of state, Fee feels as if she has lost everything. To ease her loneliness and to face her growing fears in this unwelcoming place to strangers, she attempts to make friends with cave enthusiasts, who are willing to show this newcomer the ropes. While visiting a cavern on her own, she meets a mysterious boy named Faron Rothschild, who seems to recognize her struggle and takes her under his wing; however, at the same time, he is hiding a very dark and dangerous secret which puts her life at risk. Unknown to her, Faron has the task of keeping humans safe in the caves as well as acting as an emissary between three competing groups who are warring over how to contain the disclosure of an ancient race living below, of whom he is a descendant of, and also has the ability to shape-shift. In a world where no one trusts anyone, can one girl, who is afraid of most things, find it in her heart to rise up and bring peace between darkness and light before it is too late? Or will the opposing sides seek to silence her once she discovers what no one is allowed to discover?
