Homer and Stanley’s Otterly Fantastic First Adventure

This delightful reimagining of the ancient Greek epic, The Odyssey, follows the adventures of Homer, a young otter, who yearns to be free and make his own decisions. But after getting washed down the river in a great flood, he finds himself being cared for in the city by a kindly veterinarian and her daughter. When he is brought to a wildlife rehabilitation center and told he will spend the rest of his life in the zoo, he knows he must escape. Now, with the help of another young otter, Stanley, he must survive a series of adventures as he journeys back to his home in the deep woods to rescue his family.
