Lennie the Lion’s Lucky Escape

Lennie is a lion cub born in the Imfolozi-Hluhluwe National Park in Zululand South Africa. This book, by wildlife expert Don Halliday, tracks his life story from cub to adult until he becomes the leader of the Injingali pride.His unusual black mane attracts the unwanted attention of a visiting hunter and his South African side-kick. Despite being targeted by a high-powered rifle Lennie escapes thanks to the help of a pair of sympathetic game rangers.
