When Living Remote, we do things quite a bit different than the rest of the world. Most people use a chainsaw to cut firewood down in the forest only to haul it home to be split and dried. But we are Skill Saw Loggers living in the land of toothpick trees in Northern Manitoba Canada. The cold winters and short growing seasons in the Boreal Forest do not let the trees grow very big so that is why they got the nickname “toothpick trees”. The Skill Saw is the perfect tool for cutting these toothpick trees because it is quick and easy with not costing much money. As Skill Saw Loggers, we cut a lot of blown down or fallen toothpick trees as part of cleaning up the bush to ensure fire protection around the Kingdom. To be able to survive up here at the end of the world, we have recycled a lot of scrap metal to build the wood stoves to keep us warm through the long winters. thansk
