Kenya Dayton and Kovi King have always been childhood friends. Even though the two went to prom together, Kovi’s feelings foe Kenya never ceased. Kenya, on the otherhand, believes the two are just better off as friends. Kenya, a nursing student, notices the unhealthy habits of her sister, Kiara and Kovi’s brother, Keith and fears she and Kovi will be heading into the same route. An encounter with the Lord allows Kenya to put all of her hurt and fear at the throne of His grace.
Kovi, a business student, searches for something more in life rather than the fame coming at him on the football field. After a health scare leads him to walking away from the field, Kovi focuses on the two important things in his life, his relationship with Christ and love for Kenya. As soon as Kenya and Kovi grow closer and stronger in their relationship, an unexpected opposition tries to tear down what they have built.
