‘Meg O’ My Heart’ – Sweet and clean with a bit of whimsical and mystical in this contemporary Irish story of love.
Meg Williams, a new college graduate, had no choice but to continue living with her controlling grandfather and work at his IT company in Boston following a car accident that left her with debilitating migraines. Orphaned at the age of nine, her grandfather was left embittered from a plane crash that claimed both of Meg’s parents, now putting all his hopes in her half-brother inheriting his company. Coming from old school, he was attempting to arrange introductions to nerdy sons of customers to Meg that would advantageously benefit the company. However, a lifeline occurred when she surreptitiously came across a letter that indicated she inherited her grandmother’s cottage in a small town in Ireland. Taking this opportunity to escape while pursuing suppressed talents in the art world, she comes to know many of her long-lost relatives and villagers. One, in particular, is a neighboring farmer who has been the caretaker of the cottage in her absence. Tall, dark, and handsome, he is pursued by every eligible lass in the county. Yet, they share a common glen that’s inhabited by one ornery leprechaun who is intent in bringing the two together for a common good. Join Meg as she makes her way into independence in this sweet and clean romance while pursuing her talents and finding true love in the process.
