Professor Mckorkle’s Marvellous Shed: the Adventure Begins

Twelve-year-old Davy Marr loves nothing more than stealing out of bed to look at the stars. He is captivated by the twinkling lights in the night sky.
Davy’s mysterious neighbour, Professor McKorkle, is seldom seen. Nobody knows anything about him.
Davy knows something, though.
He knows the professor spends a lot of time in his shed, and strange lights from inside pierce the darkness.
Then one night, while Davy is at his bedroom window, the shed and the professor disappear!
Why has the professor left Davy his books and papers?
Suddenly Davy finds himself caught up in a dangerous quest to protect secret research and discover a miraculous new power source that could prevent global catastrophe.
But the Bad Men will do anything to stop him.
