Forced to star in a reality TV show with seven deadly sins, can a reluctant and awkward psychic avoid total meltdown–and solve a murder?
I’m Sid, a ghost whisperer more comfortable with the dead than the living. As a psychic private investigator, I once solved cold cases for the cops. Then I got fired and my girlfriend left, leaving me jobless, homeless, and worthless. But a cockamamie reality TV show promised everything back—if I joined the cast as Pride in a house of deadly sins.
It was the last thing in the world I wanted. (Well, maybe not the very last. There are worse things, like world hunger and war and people who use speaker phone in public.) Still, a ghost whisperer’s gotta eat.
Between the cameras and my dysfunctional co-stars, the gig was even worse than I imagined. Then I found that dead body in a haunted Chinese restaurant that serves cursed fortune cookies. Things took a hard left after that.
It’s not my job to solve this murder. But if I want any hope of winning back my girlfriend, my job, and my pride (ugh, no pun intended), I need to channel my inner Allison DuBois and discover how this jinxed cookie crumbles.
Sin and Bear It is a clever, tongue-in-cheek, first-in-series urban fantasy paranormal mystery. Lucifer meets Supernatural meets The Real World in this fun, quirky, paranormal adventure. For fans of Dick Wybrow, Steve Higgs, Drew Hayes, and Hailey Edwards.
