At the top lies the Monolith, a false utopia where the privileged enjoy eternal peace, their perfect stasis maintained by the massive “Anchor of Time.” But this absolute peace is fueled by the cruel incineration of emotions and time stolen from Ebony—the dark, suffocating lower world where the remnants of time fall like ash.

Adin, a solitary boy carrying the heavy burden of Ebony, uncovers the dark truth behind the Monolith. To save those who suffer in the shadows and to reclaim the natural flow of seasons, he must embark on a perilous journey to pull the Anchor of Time and bring the false paradise crashing down.
