On the 4th October 2016 emergency services responded to a fire in the rural Northumberland village of Thornwick. What they found sent shockwaves around the world. All 115 villagers were missing, having vanished without a trace overnight. After a massive search and rescue operation none of the villagers were ever found.The only evidence recovered was the journal of Police Sergeant Billy Ashton, who documented the strange events leading up to the mass vanishing.
