It’s 1986, and Kevin and James are just a couple of misfit middle school kids trying to make the shift from childhood into their teenage years. However, growing up in a small town like Maple City, Indiana can be tough and to their surprise, dangerous. They will learn that sometimes it’s better to let some dreams stay just that.
How will they find their way to adulthood, when everything in their sleepy little town gets turned upside down by a horrific crime and how are they involved? Things get hairy as the boys try to figure everything out, before it gets them killed.
If they’re lucky, they won’t end up like the Brody Girl.
