KINDLE

In The Scattering and the Seed, Robin Kar reimagines the Tower of Babel not as a curse, but as a seed for unity – a poetic call to bridge the divides between faiths, and between secularism and faith, to find a shared heaven on earth. With lyrical prose and heartfelt empathy, this transformative book weaves together the wisdom of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, and secular paths, revealing a universal longing for love, peace, and connection that can unite us all.Through evocative metaphors and timeless quotes from Rumi, Tagore, and sacred texts, Kar takes readers on a journey, inviting them to transcend dogmatic rigidity and embrace a deeper stillness that can speak to every heart. Practical calls to action – whether through acts of justice, prayer, or meditation – offer a tangible path for Jews, Christians, Muslims, spiritual seekers and non-theists alike to live out this vision of unity. Available for free in digital form (as permitted up to 5 days out of every 90 on this platform), The Scattering and the Seed is a clarion call to a divided world, inspiring readers to see themselves as woven into a stunning tapestry, where our scattered paths may converge in wonder.
