From the disestablishmentarians of the deviant, to the pious devout, above them all is the technocratic Apparatus; the science kings who hold dominion over the modern world.
With tens of thousands of weird-wizards worldwide, protecting their own corners, expounding their own dogma, ideological disagreement often spills out into violence. Weird wizards fighting for the soul of the actual.
Amidst these weirds is Katherine ‘Kitt’ Marlow; a virtuoso wizard of the keys of [Discord] and [Mind]. Having lost her way, having found uncertainty in her chosen path, Kitt devises a plan to make the world better; all of it. In one stroke of a pen, with one word utter, she thinks she’ll refine, renew, repair and remedy. All she needs is the right word.
Meanwhile the Apparatus agent Emily Westcroft has another agenda. In her sights lay in the direction of defeating powerful villains, world-shattering materializations, and a promotion.
