A warm hand may be more dangerous than a frozen one.
Dr. Naomi Calder wakes strapped to a med bay bed inside Halberg Station, an isolated polar research facility locked under White Room Protocol. The station is freezing, the crew is scattered, and Jonah Reed, a man officially dead for ninety-one days, is breathing inside White Room 9.
His warning is simple: do not open the door.
But the quarantine system is failing. Voices of the dead are moving through the speakers. Bodies are cooling from the inside while their hands stay warm. And whatever was sealed inside the White Rooms has learned a brutal rule of survival: when there is not enough heat, it takes warmth from anything still alive.
Naomi has to find the remaining crew, keep the wrong doors closed, and decide who can still be saved before the station turns every rescue attempt into another way for the hunger to spread.
White Room 9 is a contained polar survival horror novel about isolation, quarantine, impossible triage, and the terror of realizing that survival itself can become contagious.
