For example, all three heroes are alpha males in the millionaire and billionaire category. They’re all super-confident and disgustingly handsome. However, I wanted to take this series in a different direction, so I’ve included plenty of humour and realism. Although the stories are essentially romance, there’s also plenty of mystery and suspense. A lot of work went into plotting, making sure all three books are real page turners.In particular, X is different because most of the sex scenes are described using all the senses apart from sight! The trilogy, as a whole – about three brothers (Max, Sebastian and Zach) – is also different because it works backwards in time. By the end of X, you’ll know who the main villain is. You’ll also know who the brothers end up with. I wrote it this way because, as a reader, I like the certainty of knowing there’ll be a HEA for my heroes and heroines. In fact, whenever I read a romance, I always skip to the end to make sure! I think most romance readers are the same: it’s a case of the journey being more important than the destination. Working backwards also gave me an opportunity to give you glimpses into characters’ lives at different points and from different perspectives. I thought this might be fun.Why should readers give the X, Y, Z Trilogy a try?I love a damaged hero, a filthy rich, possessive alpha male with a dark past and a penchant for kinky sex – and that’s exactly what you get in these three brothers. But they’re also a lot deeper than that. Deep down, you’ll find they’re caring, sensitive and fiercely loyal. And not one of my heroes is an actual power-hungry control freak. It’s just not my thing! They usually inherit their wealth, hate their wealth, and end up using it for good (obviously, with the guidance of the heroine).I love a feisty heroine. And Ella, Evie and Amy are just that. They all have their own talents and strengths. They also have their own weaknesses, which they work on during the course of their respective stories. But more than anything, they always give their respective heroes more than a run for their money. Part of the fun is seeing a powerful man brought to his knees by a down-to-earth woman! Above all, I hope readers will enjoy the steamy sexual relationships between the respective heroes and heroines, not to mention their blossoming love for each other with all its twists and turns.By the way, when I released Shut Your Eyes, the final book in my first trilogy, it reached number 12 on Amazon UK for erotic romance, and stayed in the top 100 for quite some time – a good measure of how many people enjoyed it. I hope this new trilogy can bring people as much entertainment and escapism as the first.
