This is the tale of a dragon/human romance. Cody is running from trouble and runs right into Renny. Cody had been set up to take the fall for someone killing a drug dealer. Dirty cops are involved and death threats. Cody came to Talon Springs because she felt a small town would be safer. She soon finds out it isn’t. Renny offers her a job at his ranch to help her get out of town. But trouble follows her. This is a complete story but does lead into the next book. I can’t wait to see how another dragon shifter finds love.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This awesome book will immediately grab you and not let you go, it is so suspenseful. Cody has a secret that will keep you turning pages, you’ll want to know what it is so badly. I loved how protective Renny is, and how he would do anything he could to keep Cody safe. I loved all the detailed descriptions throughout this book, it made everything pop out at you. Loved how Renny treated Cody it was so great to see.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I simply couldn’t stop reading this! I loved how Renny and Cody’s relationship developed and I enjoyed revisiting a land that I once loved living in (no dragons that I know of, though). The only peeve I had were the typos that I encountered but that’s only because I was an English major. Otherwise, a wonderful book.
