Mesa Crest: a Ruthven Company Novella

Vane, ex-hero, learns of a dragon attack on the thriving coastal city of Mesa Crest. The Ruthven Fighter’s Guild and Vane arrive to build homes and rescue trapped flood victims. Then the dagger turns – dragon rider Cane accuses Vane and the city of guilt, corruption, and murder – justifying the attack. A desperate friend sends Vane back in time to relive the terrible day when the apocalypse began.
