When Daniel’s mother buys two cheap houses near the river, it feels like a lucky mistake.
It isn’t.
One house burns.
The other begins to wake.
Soon Daniel is surrounded by things that should not exist: sounds in the walls, a child who appears and disappears, and one impossible date that keeps returning—
June 3.
What started as a bad property deal becomes something far older and far worse. Because the houses were never the beginning.
And Daniel may already be part of whatever is waiting there.
