While the Old Testament is the story of Israel, because of Jesus, it is also the story of every Christian. And so, there’s a good chance you’ll see a bit of yourself—a bit of a family resemblance—in folks like Abraham, Moses, and Ruth. More than that, you’ll see something of the love of God, which found its greatest expression in Jesus. And it’s, of course, to Jesus that every Old Testament story points.
Like the previous volume in this series, 21/Jesus, this short book was written with busy people in mind. The suggested Bible readings are each less than a chapter, and the devotional entries themselves will take fewer than five minutes to read.
