Sergeant Dan McGill takes on the Chicago Mob in the summer of 1941, refusing to be on their payroll and facing the consequences of his defiance. After striking back and taking the Mob’s money, a four-year hunt ensues as the Mob pursues McGill, now calling himself Charlie Hart, across the United States and into war-torn Europe. Will McGill be able to outsmart the Mob and survive both their pursuit and the threat of the Nazis?
