Living alone in a small rural community, Ruby’s life is contracting. When ill-health forces her to seek medical help, her brother conspires with the local doctor to have her committed to an aged care centre. After being rescued from the dementia ward by her nephew, Ruby decides to take the law into her own hands. She will need to draw upon all of her life experience and chutzpah if she is to regain control of her affairs and exact revenge on her unscrupulous brother and a mean-spirited nursing home. Meanwhile her nephew, a well-known artist, has other ideas about how to achieve payback.
