Drunk for Revenge

Rae and Barlow couldn’t be any more different. Rae is a recluse whose walls keeps everybody far away from her. Not only to protect herself from this life she didn’t want but also to keep anybody from finding out her dark past. Barlow is driven to do more with his second life and prefers to stay out of the way. The only thing they have in common is that they are investigators for the Vampire Investigators Organization. Working with Barlow threatens to tear down the walls Rae spent fifty years building walls. Having Barlow closer risks the main secret she’s been hiding being revealed, even if the human’s deaths were necessary to keep them off of the roads drunk. It isn’t until they get tasked to work together to uncover a string of mysterious human deaths that the truth starts to unravel. How long can Rae keep her secrets hidden while uncovering the secrets around her? Will Barlow discover the hidden side of Rae? Let’s just say revenge never tasted so sweet.
