Viera doesn’t know aliens exist, and she certainly doesn’t know there are dragons in space, or that the woman she’s crushing on isn’t exactly human. What she does know is that she likes being a 2nd grade teacher in the Midwest, she needs a relaxing spring break, and she’s never been able to say no to someone who needs help.
So, getting accidentally beamed onto a spaceship surrounded by aliens headed to a peace summit isn’t exactly the chill staycation she craved. Despite the thrill of discovering that her crush might not be entirely one-sided, fairytales are real, and gaining magical powers, accepting that aliens exist, there are a lot of them, and they’re almost as unruly as the 2nd graders she’s not sure she’ll ever see again is a big pill to swallow.
Even though navigating a galactic space station packed with aliens of all shapes, sizes, and genders challenges Viera in more ways than one, with her crush at her side, Viera eye’s are forever opened to a universe bigger than she ever imagined. Even if it weren’t for the aliens threatening her crush’s home planet, Viera’s not sure she could ever go home to her cozy little life. And if the invading aliens turn their focus on Earth, she’s not sure there may not be a home to go back to.
Come along with Viera as she discovers that skills honed in an elementary school classroom are surprisingly well suited to fending off invading alien species and embracing the diversity of what space has to offer.
