Sherlock Holmes & the Dead Man’s Hole

A body is pulled from the Thames at a place known as Dead Man’s Hole.

The victim is a celebrated stage actor — beaten and thrown into the river. His widow identifies the body, and the death appears tragically straightforward.

But when Sherlock Holmes examines the corpse, he notices one small detail that does not belong.

What begins as a routine insurance enquiry soon leads Holmes into the dockside slums of Shadwell, the shadowed rooms above a riverside tavern, and the dangerous intersection of theatre, deception, and greed.
