Cypriots Versus Zombies – A Pseudo-Biographical Zombie Trilogy, Book 1
Cyprus 1980, when my gripping horror tale unfolded.
Where I, A socially awkward, rude, sixteen-year-old boy from London, found myself embroiled in an extraordinary battle against evil and a horde of the undead, alongside my two warring old Cypriot grandmothers.
Our unlikely trio teamed up with a handful of geriatric locals. We confronted a relentless horde of zombies threatening the village. Amidst the chaos, I grappled with my own, coming-of-age, hormonal journey, navigating the complexities of my Cypriot culture, family dynamics and awkwardness in the face of a zombie apocalypse.
This story contains dark comedy, a fair bit of toilet humour, thrilling action and Cockney-British and Greek-Cypriot humour! It’s not just a zombie thriller; it’s a rude, hilarious and poignant exploration of Cypriot culture, identity, relationships, and resilience in the most unexpected of circumstances (not to mention – an outhouse!)
Its all metaphorical!
