My conclusions. What is remote viewing? Remote viewing is a learned skill based on a strict protocol harnessing a fundamental ability shared by human beings everywhere. We all have an innate ESP ability to varying degrees. We may think of it as intuition, but what if I was to tell you there is a learned skill that enhances this natural ability? What if I was to tell you it’s possible to learn to control this ability in much the same way as a martial artist trains their body to break through preconceived physical and mental barriers? That learned skill is remote viewing. Remote Viewing uses the ESP we are all born with to view a distant or unseen object utilizing a disciplined approach originally developed under the auspices of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) in the 1970s. I am a trained remote viewer with over a decade of experience. Some of my early remote viewing sessions are online. Many of these were archived by third-party websites such as the Way Back Machine. The sessions are available to the public. In Book 4 of the Remote Viewed series, I provide a link to some sessions I posted online in 2014.

Trees Tall as Mountains (The Journey Mama Writings: Book 1)

For eleven years Rachel Devenish Ford has been writing about her not quite normal life at her blog, Journey Mama, telling stories about her days with characteristic honesty and humor. Now for the first time, this writing is captured in book format in the Journey Mama Writings Series. In Trees Tall as Mountains, Rachel writes about her life of volunteering in an intentional community in the woods of Northern California with her Superstar Husband and three young children, cultivating joy and her faith in God despite a continuing fight with anxiety and very simple means. She is candid and hopeful, intimate and humorous. Because Rachel’s explorations of faith are not trite or churchy, her writing is beloved by believer and non-believer alike. Her bright, honest words make strangers into friends, and Rachel’s attempts to truly understand the love of God radiate hope to others who are searching for him in the sometimes dark, sometimes beautiful world.

Envy, Poison, & Death: Women on Trial in Classical Athens

This is an open access title available under the terms of a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence. It is free to read at Oxford Scholarship Online and offered as a free PDF download from OUP and selected open access locations. At the heart of this volume are three trials held in Athens in the fourth century BCE. The defendants were all women and in each case the charges involved a combination of ritual activities. Two were condemned to death. Because of the brevity of the ancient sources, and their lack of agreement, the precise charges are unclear, and the reasons for taking these women to court remain mysterious. Envy, Poison, and Death takes the complexity and confusion of the evidence not as a a riddle to be solved, but as revealing multiple social dynamics. It explores the changing factors—material, ideological, and psychological—that may have provoked these events. It focuses in particular on the dual role of envy (phthonos) and gossip as processes by which communities identified people and activities that were dangerous, and examines how and why those local, evenindividual, dynamics may have come to shape official civic decisions during a time of perceived hardship. At first sight so puzzling, these trials reveal a vivid picture of the socio-political environment of Athens during the early-mid fourth century BCE, including responses to changes in women’s status and behaviour, and attitudes to ritual activities within the city. The volume reveals some of the characters, events, and even emotions that would help to shape an emergent concept of magic: it suggests that the boundary of acceptable behaviour was shifting, not only within the legal arena but alsothrough the active involvement of society beyond the courts.

Christ in the Psalms: 30 Daily Devotions from the Hebrew Hymnal

The Book of Psalms is known as the Bible’s songbook or the Hebrew hymnal. Jesus knew all 150 psalms intimately because they spoke of Him, as all the Scriptures speak of Him. Jesus said, “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me” (John 5:39). Jon J. Cardwell has been writing daily devotional thoughts for years, first for his own understanding and blessing, and later, offering them to the congregations he served as pastor. If you have not yet cultivated a daily devotional life, this book is a simple way to get started. If you already spend time in prayerful meditation upon the Scriptures, these 30 devotional thoughts from select psalms will be a blessing to you in exalting the Lord Jesus Christ from the psalms. They will bring you a new level of intimacy with Christ, and help you unleash a new passion for who Christ is in your life because of what He has done. Grab your copy today!
